Ed Ng and Terence Ngan founded AB Concept, an international interior design and architecture studio, in 1999. It is focused on creating important moments in luxury environments in the hospitality, commercial, and residential sectors.
The Hong Kong-based design studio AB Concept designed the interior for China’s first Rosewood Resort, which opened in Sanya’s Haitang Bay in August 2017.
Located at the exclusive Haitang Bay of Hainan Island, China, the design of the Rosewood Sanya offers a fresh perspective on the idea of a relaxing resort hotel, evoking memories of the comfort of your own home and refined elegance in a private atmosphere.
The contemporary design concept built by AB Concept centers around the traditions of the local tribes in a unique expression to welcome and inspire all the Rosewood guests. The luxury spaces offer guests open views of the South China Sea and raise guests to appreciate this tropical island. The luxury hotel‘s lush surroundings are crafted by the acclaimed and much-admired Bangkok-based PLA.
A living room-like space with plush seating, fully stocked bookshelves, and a tea bar offer guests a space to unwind and relax. This project maintains its signature “A Sense of Place” philosophy through the resort’s unique interior design with modern furniture pieces.
