Sherwin-Williams Reveals The 2018 Color Trends For Interiors

Fortunately you won’t need to say good bye to minimalism yet it will have a different approach. Take a look at the 2018 color trends!

Time does fly away… It seems like yesterday that Insplosion team was at Maison et Objet Paris in the beginning of the year spotting new trends on the interior design industry and now we are already halfway through 2017 talking about next year.

And if there’s one design trend that we like to talk about is color. After all, it’s a fundamental element in any market – fashion, interior design and even tech. People prefer designs that look neat and appealing, and color can easily make an impact in any object or space.

The american firm Sherwin-Williams anticipates that 2018 will mainly be focusing on three color pallets: Afinity, Connectivity and Sincerity. Each one was inspired by the collective culture of the moment that reaches all different fields, capturing the aura of a year that is bound to be full of progress.

Take a look below the 2018 color trends!

According to Sherwin-Williams, the new technology firms are adopting innovative utopian ideals and breakthrough designs that include pixelated oranges, digital blues and greens and high definition yellow shades. And that’s mainly the inspiration behind this color pallet.

Connectivity features hippie vibes in a modern, playful concept adding warm and energetic tones to a space.

Minimalism will still remain a huge design trend in 2018 so you don’t need to throw all your Scandinavian furniture away which is pretty nice. Yet this concept will take on a less structured look with soft, washed neutrals, greens and sanctuary pinks.

The Sincerity pallet is all about ditching harsh lines for sandy browns, muted grays, and hazy greens that harmonize perfectly. You won’t need to stress too much about sticking to a strict color scheme.

This color trend features striking blue, animated fuchsia and a stabilizing brown that conveys a sense of everyday nomadism and wanderlust.

This color pallet is set to celebrate the connection between people and places crating a beautiful getaway with a relaxed yet fun accent color combination.
