Pure’s Office Space Designed to Have a Cozy Home Feeling<\/h3>\n

Pure Office space by S\u00edlvia Rocio, Mariana P\u00f3voa and Esse Studio was designed \u00a0to have a cozy, flexible atmosphere\u00a0where curtains separate the different divisions.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The Lisbon-based trio S\u00edlvia Rocio<\/strong><\/em>, Mariana P\u00f3voa<\/strong> <\/em>and Esse Studio<\/strong> <\/em>designed\u00a0an office space<\/strong><\/em> for the mobile dating app – Pure<\/strong><\/em><\/a> – using curtains, patterned tiles and stunning pendant lighting<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Located in Lisbon, the homely office was meant to match the tech startup’s personality and vision as “the hook-up app for awesome people”,<\/strong> having a cozy atmosphere and lounge areas where workers can relax.<\/p>\n

The architects opt to use curtains, allowing the office design<\/strong><\/em> to partition different zones, including\u00a0\u00a0a workspace\u00a0with a long table, a smaller meeting room with a circular desk for Skype calls, the lounge and a kitchenette.<\/p>\n

\"Office<\/a><\/p>\n

The space has plenty of flexibility, as the curtains can be drawn to separate the different divisions, pulled back to create an open plan space, or closed into ruched bundles\u00a0that only partially separate each area.<\/p>\n

The 60 square-meter office is located on the ground floor of mixed-use building called Entrecampos<\/strong><\/em> on Avenida das For\u00e7as Armadas, and is described\u00a0by a comfortable home feeling design<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

In its interior design<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0one can find the color of drapes serving as the main pallet. The designers Rocio<\/strong><\/em>, P\u00f3voa<\/strong> <\/em>and Esse Studio<\/strong><\/em> described it as “gold” to reference the hue of the building’s window frames. These golden tones were used throughout the space and contrasted with black and white details that are intended to reference Pure’s monochrome logo.<\/p>\n

The kitchen and the bathroom design<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>consist of white floor tiles pattern with geometric black lines for a sense of fluidity. The kitchen also features a tall wooden cabinet that hides a structural beam, a wooden dining counter and three black stools<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The office\u00a0design<\/strong><\/em> includes other monochrome details such as pendant lights from the Bouroullec Brothers<\/strong><\/em> that were placed above the two desks and chairs.<\/p>\n

To make the space feel larger, a big window is covered with mirrors to reflect the garden landscapes.<\/p>\n
