AUSTIN MOTEL TEXAS<\/h2>\n

The historic Austin Motel<\/strong><\/em> located just south of the Colorado River and Downtown, in view of the State Capitol and walking distance to the famous bat bridge. Operating since 1938, the building surrounded South Congress strip of bars, restaurants and shops. Interior designer Liz Lambert<\/strong> redesigned the hotel and added this project to her hospitality company Bunkhouse <\/a>portfolio.<\/p>\n

AUSTIN MOTEL TEXAS LOBBY<\/h3>\n

The motel lobby – mimic to convenience store, with coolers for drinks and snacks. Moreover, a minimal interior space sells travel essentials, souvenirs and pool accessories.<\/p>\n

The property’s newest chapter melds its uniquely Texas spirit, reflected in the original bones and iconic neon signage, with Bunkhouse’s authentic flare and distinctive design touch<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

AUSTIN MOTEL TEXAS INTERIOR<\/h3>\n

For the renovation of the Austin Model, interior designer made the choice to emphasize some of its features. For that reason, it includes the original architecture and the Austin Motel pool for swimming in the bean shape. Austin Motel <\/strong><\/em>interiors matches Liz Lambert <\/strong>aesthetic.<\/p>\n

\"Austin<\/p>\n

The hotel offers 41 guest rooms and all of them redesigned with exlusive furniture. The main purpose is to fit with the mid-century<\/strong><\/em> architecture. For that reason, Liz Lambert<\/strong> chose bright red, orange and yellow shades for upholstery. As well as, colorful wallpapers and accessories to match the iconic neon sign that hangs outside. Red and white also used for parasols and loungers outdoors.<\/p>\n

COLLABORATIONS<\/h3>\n

Refreshing the Austin motel <\/em><\/strong>involved collaborations with several local companies. Landscaping undertaken by architect Mark Word Design<\/a>. Likewise, the new pool bar constructed by metalworkers Design Build Adventure<\/a>. Also, the customization woodwork completed by Enabler<\/a>.<\/p>\n
