The 2019 edition of iSaloni<\/strong> has just finished and we can\u2019t wait for the next one in 2020 (we have already started the countdown!). But this year, Salone del Mobile left us with some amazing inspirations<\/span> that will last for a lot of time – or until the next design event! Brands and exhibitors have been really prolific, and they have taken the wow factor to the next level. We were there and were astonished by the mastery and talent of the interior designers and their luxurious stands: looking at the various showrooms and their different tendencies<\/span> gave us the perfect opportunity to compile a list of the luxury trends<\/strong> spotted at the fair. LUXURY TRENDS SPOTTED AT ISALONI 2019<\/h1>\n

COSMIC DESIGN<\/h2>\n

BVLGARI<\/h3>\n

\"bvlgari<\/a><\/p>\n

For its 2nd<\/sup> year at Salone del Mobile Bvlgari<\/strong> organized two installations that have in common the same motto \u201cWeaving Design, Art And Science<\/em>\u201d: exploring the connections between the three fields and the possible outcomes. In the Ulrico Hoepli Municipal Planetarium<\/em> the Argentinian artist Tom\u00e1s Saraceno<\/em><\/strong> – capable of drawing the analogies between astronomical constellations and the particular shape of spiderwebs – has created an imaginary cosmic web made from the same spiderwebs he has studied for over a decade.<\/p>\n

The other installation gives emphasis to the B.Zero1 design<\/span> and its evolution in this twenty years: a celebration of the iconic ring through the gold and blue setting while a set of mirrors at the center reflect the ring to all visitors, creating an amazing visual experience.<\/p>\n

COLORFUL WORLDS<\/h2>\n

MISSONI<\/h3>\n

\"missoni<\/a><\/p>\n

This year Missoni<\/strong> has represented the colorful creativity that is the distinctive trait of the brand. The \u201cHome Sweet Home<\/em>\u201d project – under the expert eyes of artist Alessandra Roveda<\/em> \u2013 was a blaze of colors and textures through the recreation of a whole 3-D house filled with objects and accessories made entirely with crochet knitting techniques<\/span>. The original vision displayed a different but delightful atmosphere, surely the most playful project at iSaloni 2019<\/strong>. The perfect stand for an Instagram binge in our LUXURY TRENDS SPOTTED AT ISALONI 2019<\/strong><\/em><\/span> list!<\/p>\n

CERAMIC WONDERLAND<\/h2>\n

ANTONIO MARRAS<\/h3>\n

Since last year, the partnership between Antonio Marras<\/em> and Vincenzo D\u2019Alba<\/em> is a bridge between two beautiful regions in Italy, Sardinia and Apulia. The collection \u2013 nearly 500 pieces of quotidian pieces such as vases, cups, trays, and sculptures \u2013 evoked feelings coming from ancestral times; the hand-shaped clay only a tool to express their visionary sensibility. Common pieces, decorated with human expressions, became vessels of archaic spirits. As he said:\u201d Beginning with fresh clay and modifying, modeling, maiming, piercing, scarring, cutting, melding, and working with it for hours, the material becomes something new, changing form and volume<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Other various projects transformed his Circolo Marras<\/strong> in a completely different world, from a temporary restaurant in collaboration with Rana, to masterful carpets reproducing fantasy maps around the world with Amini Carpets, to fabric sample and wallpapers with Wall & Dec\u00f2.<\/p>\n

ECCENTRIC VIBE<\/h2>\n

ARMANI\/CASA<\/h3>\n

\"armani<\/a><\/p>\n

Clean and bold lines<\/span> defined this \u201ceclectic and eccentric\u201d collection created by Giorgio Armani<\/strong>. The Japanese<\/em> influence could be easily detected by the collection\u2019s naturalistic shapes<\/span>, even if the designers confirmed that there wasn\u2019t a common theme \u2013 every piece was presented in a dark theatre using strategic lights to highlight only the pieces and nothing else. Even without a theme, the references to nature – water, tree, clouds, waves – were more than visible by the visitors, thanks to the several colors (light blue, red, pale gold, and blue).
