First of all, Paris and Berlin are like two different worlds colliding. Emmanuel de Bayser<\/strong><\/em><\/span> itself admitted: \u201cParis means all the tradition and culture, and Berlin means being more adventurous, a bit more experimental, daring even<\/em>\u201d. That\u2019s the reason why he always going back and forward, not only between the cities but also between the different kind of projects. Furthermore, we can perceive a connection between the different places and that\u2019s the artistic feeling Emmanuel de Bayser<\/strong><\/em><\/span> wants to expose through his different life projects.<\/p>\n

EMMANUEL DE BAYSER STYLE<\/h3>\n

The love for mid-century art<\/em><\/span> \u2013 pervades everything. Even from the extensive collection of books on his German apartment\u2019s library, we can perceive the allure the 50s and 60s have on his style. Besides, he lets himself be inspired by Jean Prouv\u00e9, Jean Roy\u00e8re and Jean-Michel Frank. <\/em>As well as, Marc du Plantier and Georges Jouve. Also, Diego Giacometti, Joseph Dirand, Jacques Grange, Pierre Yovanovitch. Likewise, <\/em>influenced by the 19th-century, mainly Haussmannian architecture<\/em>. Besides, his artistic culture comes from his heritage for sure: \u201cThere were artists and art dealers in my family, so I lived surrounded by aesthetics\u2014paintings, furniture, objects<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

BERLIN APARTMENT<\/h3>\n

The Berlin apartment<\/strong>, situated on Mitte\u2019s Gendarmenmarkt<\/em>, answers to every mid-century prayer. An alluring atmosphere based on chromatic contrast<\/span> such as black, white, and earthy colors plays between different textures.<\/span> Emmanuel de Bayser<\/strong> always researches personality in his artistic choices, \u201ca story to be told\u201d, without forgetting the aim for luxuries and comforts.<\/p>\n

Emmanuel de Bayser<\/strong><\/em><\/span> passion in ceramics lets us understand the reasons: \u201cI had to be interested in it because I had no place for furniture. So, I found a way of learning more about things I already owned<\/em>!\u201d. For this reason, the apartment is a never-ending project. Its always evolving like art itself. Different art pieces, various influences, but always reminding the space of his true fancy. Appartment surrounded by pair of sheep sculptures by Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier Lalanne,<\/em>\u00a0French mid-century ceramicist Georges Jouve<\/em>\u2019s colorful ceramics. Also, the chairs of Jean Prouv\u00e9. E<\/em>verything explores the long-time quest of his specific style.<\/p>\n
