Since its debut in 2012, which has marked the start of the collaborations, the Objets Nomades Collection by Louis Vuitton<\/strong><\/span> has explored \u2013 through diverse eyes and perspectives \u2013 the travelling inspiration<\/span> that comes from different perceptions: the result is forty-five unconventional pieces that are an evident reference to the exploration theme<\/em> that the fashion house had already promoted with the iconic Bed Trunk<\/em> for French explorer Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza in 1874. The creativity behind the limited-edition furniture pieces has been displayed by the designers\u2019 ability to create extremely unconventional high-crafted products<\/span> that appear, at the same time, particularly functional \u2013 thanks to the savoir-faire<\/em> and craftsmanship<\/em> of the house\u2019s artisans. The ethereal<\/span> yet colorful attitude<\/span> of the Object Nomades Collection<\/em><\/strong> manages to represent Louis Vuitton\u2019s personality. Barber&Osgerby, Andr\u00e9 Fu, Damien Langlois-Meurinne, Nendo, Gwena\u00ebl Nicolas, Raw Edges, Patricia Urquiola, India Mahdavi<\/em>, and Tokujin Yoshioka<\/em> are some of the already known chosen designers; this year two new name had been added to the collection: Atelier Biagetti<\/em> and Zanellato\/Bortotto<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Atelier Biagetti<\/strong>, known for their reconstructive approach toward everyday products and their functionality, presented Anemona<\/strong><\/em>, a fiberglass table with a yellow-leather interior visible through the clear glass top: the contrast between the popping bright yellow color with the base\u2019s metallic paint is a tribute to the Adriatic Sea<\/em> near the city of Ravenna and a reminiscence of the La Scala Opera House<\/em>\u2019s fabulous costumes.<\/p>\n

The other new entry among THE OBJETS NOMADES COLLECTION BY LOUIS VUITTON<\/strong><\/em><\/span> is represented by Italian brand Zanellato\/Bortotto<\/strong> and its Mandala<\/strong> screen<\/strong><\/em>; the high level of craftsmanship<\/span> recreates a metal and leather offering to the beauty of the Venetian lagoon<\/em>: the object displays a revival of the Monogram Flower<\/em> motif of Louis Vuitton with an exotic soft-colored mandala-inspired pattern.<\/p>\n

New selections have been added to the pre-existent collection by the other designers: Marcel Wanders<\/strong> designed the Diamond Chair<\/em><\/strong> and Sofa<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 showing an intertwined rich-colored leather straps forming the bases; the Venezia lamp<\/strong><\/em>, inspired by the traditional Venetian lanterns; the Diamond Vase<\/strong><\/em>, a tribute to the internationally known Murano glass supported by colored leather straps.<\/p>\n
