A young and energic design duo is behind some of the most appreciated design projects of the last 15 years, a balanced partnership made of contrasting forces, called Gilles & Boissier<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The faithful encounter of the designers – partners at work as in life \u2013 led them to build a successful architecture, decoration and graphic design agency. Dorothee Boissier<\/em><\/strong> studied at the prestigious school of art direction and interior architecture Penninghen-Esag, in Paris, and then went to work with Christian Liaigre<\/em> first and Philippe Starck<\/em> later; the meeting with Patrick Gilles<\/em><\/strong> came to be at Christian Liaigre, from where Gilles & Boissier<\/em><\/span> came into existence.<\/p>\n

Different points of view<\/span> and opposite aesthetics<\/span> are at the core of the design company, founded in 2004: thanks to Remo Ruffini,<\/em> who believed so much in them to hire them to design his 200 Moncler Italian shop<\/span>, in addition to his private residence on the Lake Como, his chalet in Saint-Moritz and his yacht; then, it was the turn of Barry Sternlicht<\/em>\u2019s Baccarat Hotels<\/span>. From that moment on, they were launched into design stardom.<\/p>\n

With diverse projects at an international level, from private residential one to hotel & restaurant to shops & yachts, they can provide unique minimalistic<\/em> yet extremely elegant<\/em> atmosphere, in which their diverse \u2013 if not opposite \u2013 stances manage to create luxuriant ambiances<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The French aesthetic that Gilles & Boissier<\/em> <\/strong>want to bring forward is vastly influenced by their formations and intrinsically different visions \u2013 a linearly logical<\/span> for Gilles and one based on emotionally charged accents fo<\/span>r Boissier \u2013 that works beautifully together.<\/p>\n
