HERZOG & DE MEURON FOUNDERS
The founders – Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron – established the Swiss studio in 1978 in Basel. Since then they expanded their reach to an international level. They worked with multiples partners and associates on projects across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Multi-disciplinary – their specific feature. As a result, their widely recognized and awarded public projects, like stadiums, museums, pavilions, and exhibition spaces. They work on a lot of projects: the extension of concert hall Stadtcasino Basel in Switzerland and Roche Building 2. As well as, the second tower for Roche in Basel and the Children’s Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland and a lot of more wonderful projects. Also, Herzog De Meuron New York project – 56 Leonard Street, completed in 2017.

Wide company expertise led them to create a range of home accessories. The list of accessories starts from lamps, tables, stools, to handle. Moreover, a company use their home accessories collection beyond the projects.
Finally, one of their most recent projects is a new design for the Paketposthalle (Parcel Post Hall) area in Munich, Germany. The main aim, based on a holistic concept, to give a new face for all the design. Furthermore, incorporate landscape, infrastructure, and housing. As a result, it’s gonna be named as a new place of culture and encounter in Munich.
