The Dutch designer and his 40-element staff – with the support of Gabriele Chiave since 2014 – have been audacious in promoting big ideas. Likewise, that not only would impact the presence of design but also influence its future. More than 1,900 projects have been completed and many are the brands with which he has collaborated during the years, such as Baccarat, Cappellini, Christofle, Flos, Kartell, KLM, Louis Vuitton, Morgans Hotel Group, Poliform, Puma, and Swarovski.

Together within his Amsterdam-based studio: creator of not simple design but of a multi-sensory experience. In 2001, Marcel Wanders co-founded MOOOI, a fortunate design label. Besides, he is in part-owner, art director, and product designer. Likewise with the purpose – since his unruly attitude led him farther away from the academic interpretation – is to fight design dogmas with a romantic and humanistic approach.  Marcel Wanders’ style combines ironic and out-of-this-world designs, the fruit of a visionary aesthetics and a surrealistic journey.
