The return of Victoria + Albert’s International Design Awards!<\/h3>\n

British brand Victoria + Albert<\/strong> announced the return of the Victoria + Albert International Design Awards.<\/strong>\u00a0After the\u00a0success of the inaugural awards where they received over 150 submissions from keen designers<\/strong> across the globe, they decide to bring back the competition.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This Victoria + Albert International Design Awards (\u201cCompetition\u201d) began on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. GMT and ends on Friday, December 22 2017 at 17.00 P.M GMT (the \u201cEntry Period\u201d).<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Open to architects, designers and students, this year\u2019s competition draws on the ever-popular concept of boutique hotels. Using Victoria + Albert\u2019s products \u2013 baths, basins, vanities or their comprehensive range of brassware, participants are expected to conceptualise\u00a0a space that inspires, relaxes and invigorates.<\/p>\n

Entries will be judged on creativity, personality, functionality and overall aesthetics. The winner will get the chance to showcase their design at the prestigious\u00a0Salone del Mobile 2018<\/strong>\u00a0in an all-expenses sponsored trip to Milan.<\/p>\n

This year, a global panel of\u00a0renowned architects and designers<\/strong>\u00a0will use their expertise in\u00a0hospitality design<\/strong>\u00a0to assess the submitted entries. Among them are Beat Huesler, Director of Oppenheim Architecture + Design, and Simon Kincaid, Director of Conran and Partners.<\/p>\n

How to enter<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

1) Design a compact bathroom space of 3m x 3m, using at least, but not withstanding to, one Victoria + Albert bathroom product.<\/p>\n

2) Submit at least 2 project views, including a rendering or sketch and a floor plan, using the 2D or 3D downloads available\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3) Include a 150-words description to explain the submitted concept.<\/p>\n
