Today is a luxurious getaway for those who want to time travel to the past. It has now 18 rooms available but the rest of the details remained intact.

The Ivy Hotel

Baltimore, Maryland

The Ivy Hotel was originally built in 1889 for the prosperous banker and industrialist John Gilman who died before the house was even complete. In 2015 the historic mansion was transformed into an hotel as the first and only Relais & Chateaux property in the state of Maryland. Each of the 18 rooms at the hotel provides a fireflace and a luxury bathroom with heated limestone floors.
