Restaurant chain Nobu opens luxury oceanside hotel with outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean and a minimal Japonese aesthetic.
Located near the Pacific ocean, the Nobu Ryokan Malibu, is a project by Studio PCH and Montalba Architects which consists of a 16-room retreat that honers the traditional Japanese Ryokan.
The Oceanside hotel features teak soaking tubs, indoor/outdoor fireplaces, serene outdoor patios, timeless artwork and gracious accents, being the first boutique hotel in Japanese restaurant chain Noby’s Ryokan collection of exclusive retreats.

Staying in the Nobu Ryokan means high-end comfort and indulgence, luxurious amenities and a stunning Japanese-style interior design.
Throughout the boutique hotel, interior spaces are defined by a neutral color palette, earthy materials and an overall design concept that “balances the flow of energy”.
The designers opt out for rich pallets of teak, bronze and limestone that not only provide a minimalist aesthetic of traditional Japanese inns, but also evoke a laid-back spirit into the property.

The lush interior courtyard features native plants and a waterfall pool. Additional amenities include an outdoor lap pool overlooking the ocean, a fitness room, a relaxation deck and access to the beach.
