If two adjectives could be chosen to describe the multidisciplinary approach that marks Fernanda Marques ’s design career, they would be “clean and contemporary”, in line with her philosophy based on the commingling of art and design.

Sparking creativity is her trademark like various of her projects display: from residential projects in Malibu, Barbizon, São Paulo, and New York as well as many commercial projects – from Ermenegildo Zegna and John John to Le Lis Blanc, L’Occitane and Rosa Chá – this highly-praised designer has managed to insert herself into the international design field bringing her sophisticated taste and artistic enthusiasm.

Her elegant and stylish point of view has let her create a precise personal vision in which elements of architecture, interiors, and product design participate together to realize her particular signature style.

Not only is the Brazilian architect known for complex projects but also, she has won four AD awards in Italy for her furniture design projects: the wooden Infinite Stool and the Geomorph Series and Organic Steel Series, made from a variable number of modules in folded and welded steel sheet, textured and satin-finished. The project made her the recipient of the Design Best of Year Honoree in the 2013 edition, in addition to the Property Awards Americas 2013-2014, 2017-2018.
Fernanda Marques has been invited by Roca Gallery to designed the newest Brazilian gallery of the brand, conceived as showroom for the brand as well as meeting point for professionals alike. The transparency and the connection with nature are some of the traditional Brazilian concepts that the designer added to the projects.
