More than 2 years have passed since design lovers last met at what is one of the world’s renowned art and design events – Milan Design Week! The Milan furniture fair is back with a special edition curated by Milanese architect Stefano Boeri.
One of the focal points of this event is undoubtedly the iconic Salone del Mobile, this year dubbed the Supersalone! Supersalone is presented as a thematic and scenographic exhibition where companies can show their best work of the last months: a unique and special moment to discover the current design panorama.
Despite some restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the four pavilions dedicated to the event hosted, for a week, more than 400 exhibitors (a quarter of the number registered in 2019), 50 independent designers, 48 schools and universities with their young talents and thousands of visitors coming from all over the world.
The exhibition on the fairgrounds has been divided into thematic areas and itineraries: arenas for conversations with leading personalities in the contemporary cultural and creative scene, rooms dedicated to company meetings, areas reserved for young students at design schools, and food, social and relaxation areas.
